Commentary Sheet.
What did you like best about this book?
"As soon as I picked up ALASKA NOW MY EYES WERE IMMEDIATELY DRAWN TO THE GORGEOUS COVER PHOTO. The cover graphics and color choices were excellent and were set for optimal marketability. Part adventure, intrigue and romance, this is a story that will resonate with readers. Patterson's intensive research is apparent, and readers will enjoy learning more about Native Alaskans and the risks of oil development in the rural areas. Patterson's strenth is in her dialogue. The conversations are natural and move the story forward in ways that narrative cannot. The story contains just enough suspense to keep the reader glued to the page."....
OVERALL, READRS WILL BE AS CAPTIVATED BY THE INTRIGUING STORY AS THEY ARE WITH ALASKA ITSELF."

1080 Kiss Review1080 Kiss is a very entertaining read involving the romance of Morgan and Vince, both strong-minded individuals who have not previously been happy in love. The two meet when Morgan is hired to manage Vince's snowboarding career. Vince has all the potential in the world as he is very talented, but his unreliable and sometimes troublesome personality has prevented him from rising to the top.
The plot is full of surprises as Vince's rival becomes enamored with Morgan, and even a rock star gets involved as the story unfolds. The romance in 1080 Kiss is one that you root for as you grow fond of both characters. One point that meant a lot to me is the theme supports healthy relationships as opposed to self-deprecating ones.
The writing style is smooth with lots of beautiful descriptions. Having enjoyed snow skiing in the past, I loved reliving the vivid scenery in Steed's story. She is a very talented writer, and I look forward to her future releases.
--Lewis Aleman, author of The Anti-Vampire Tale, Faces in Time: A Time Travel Thriller, and Cold Streak1080 Kiss OverviewThe "God of Snow" has met his match. He never followed the rules. Vince Evans, professional snowboarder, is a black-haired, green-eyed charmer no woman can tame and no man can match on the slopes. Followed by a flurry of bad publicity and a trail of ex-managers, his Olympic dreams teeter on the brink unless he can orchestrate a career turnaround. And fast. Her rules were unbendable. After a year-long hiatus, public relations extraordinaire Morgan Price is ready to resume her high-profile job resurrecting musicians fallen from grace. A bad-boy athlete is not the type of client she expects-or wants. But then she sees a side of the "God of Snow" no one has seen before, a side she just might break all the rules of business for.Reviews and Other Information:"Angela Steed has crafted a shining gem of a contemporary romance novel with characters so believable they could have stepped off the pages at any moment and joined me for a cup of coffee." Kimberly Adkins Author of THE MEDALLION OF SOLAUS"1080 Kiss is anything but chilly.Morgan and Vince are very realistic characters with problems and pain in their pasts. The story is smooth and refreshing with dialogue that is smart and snappy. The emotions throughout the story are raw and vivid bringing the reader closer to the characters.Ms. Steed's first novel is very well done."Bonnie Petros Coffee Time Romance "I loved this book! I have never read Ms. Angela Steed before, but I will definitely look for her work. This contemporary romance was sensual, but not erotic. It was set in beautiful settings, which were wonderfully pictured for us. And the title-1080 Kiss? I'll let you read the book to see what that is all about!"Brenda Talley The Romance Studio

The Shadow Warriors ReviewThe Shadow Warriors is set in the world of computer viruses and malware, and the intelligent and often quirky people who counter them and create them. It spans several genres: mystery, thriller, and techno- both of those things. There's also a generous dose of romance. The narrator and main character is an attractive woman with a history, many male admirers, a lover of good food, fancy restaurants and hotels, and a classy dresser. She's also intelligent, computer-savvy, and inquisitive, traits which put her in the middle of a complex and dangerous situation.
Reminiscent of the famous Millennium Bug of 2000, the story centers around the efforts of a group of computer hackers, including the protagonist, Emma Davis, to retrieve some software which has gotten away from its creators and been turned into--possibly--a fearsome, world-stopping doomsday suite of computer programs. While this goes on, Emma must sort out her personal life with three men, one being her husband. The threat of digital disaster is a timely and entertaining notion, and there is no need to detail the course of the action here. It's enough to say there are murders, chases, narrow escapes, creepy suspects, intimate trysts (PG-13), and building tension enough for anyone looking for an absorbing experience.
While there is some amount of techno-speak it is minimal and will not disturb the reader who does not care to wallow in it. The heroine closely observes the dress of other characters and describes meals and hotels in considerable detail. It may be that female readers will particularly enjoy this aspect, but in fact this male reader did too--the author's descriptive powers are considerable. Many of the settings are described wonderfully well--those who have traveled widely, or would like to, will especially enjoy this aspect of the book. The author also has a fine ear for dialog.
The text is cleanly written and edited, and the small number of typos and grammar glitches that slipped through did not significantly detract from the experience. The story line was quite complex, what with the heroine's personal life intertwined with a large group of other significant characters, some with similar names. The reader should be prepared to make an effort to keep track of them.
The Shadow Warriors was a timely and fun book. The general reader would enjoy it, and I for one look forward to more by this talented, promising author.
The Shadow Warriors OverviewEmma Lee Davis must delve deep into the past to find a weapon to end the Infowar that threatens to de-stabilize a computer-dependent global economy.Project manager of atiny firm of cyber-sleuths, Emma scrambles to make the connections between a body washing up on a beach in Singapore, and the technical derring-do at a German university. She tracks a desperate hacker planning a unique software auction, a determined entrepreneur who will stop at nothing to acquire'bleeding edge' software andtumbles onto a new generation of terrorists with their own agenda.

Love at First Flight ReviewMichael Maguire works as a prosecutor. He has a big case coming up. He is hoping to win his case against some of the biggest gang members in the Baltimore area...The ruthless Benedetti brothers. They have been accused of killing three teenage boys.
Juliana Gregorio is a hair stylist at Panache. She and her boyfriend, Jeremy is currently doing the long distance thing. Jeremy got a job down in Florida. Juliana and Jeremy have been dating since high school. Juliana loves Jeremy but she is tired of waiting and wondering if Jeremy will ever propose to her.
Michael doesn't know how much more he can take of his fiancée, Paige and her whiny ways. She comes from a rich family and thinks she can boss Michael around. When Juliana and Michael end up on the same flight, sitting next to each other, it is love at first sight. Neither one of them, expect to see each other again. What they don't realize is that their paths will cross, sooner then they expected.
Another good read from Marie Force. Her last novel, Line of Scrimmage was an instant hit with me. What I like about these books are the characters. They are people that readers can fall in love with. Plus the story lines are very believable. I liked that Michael and Juliana met on an airplane and that they are complete opposites. Like the saying goes...opposites do attract. Juliana and Michael share this great chemistry between the two of them. I can't wait to read more by this talented author. Marie Force is a force to be reckoned with!
