Field of Blackbirds ReviewThis book is addictive! By the time Sebastion (the main character) tells his unlucky adversary, "Hell awaits," I was completely hooked! This book is packed with history, intrigue, and plenty of action. The author moves the storyline expertly along, building up different parts of the story until it all collides beautifully. Sebastion gets in trouble at the beginning, though a good and honorable young man, and this story tells of how he finds a new start in the French Foreign Legion. His further specialized training with Spetsnaz, and the "high-speed" operations he goes on show his character, and provide an awesome storyline. This story reminds me of a cross between The DaVinci Code and The Kingdom.
